How to choose a coffee vending machine for a school, college or dormitory
The main criteria for an educational institution are capacity, payment methods, hygiene, noise level, footprint and budget. A machine in a hallway, canteen or common area works under short, intensive load between classes, so it should serve many cups without frequent refilling, accept both cashless and token payments, be easy to clean and have a compact body. It also needs to work quietly enough for a corridor or recreation area.
Unlike a small office machine, a college coffee vending machine is designed for higher daily traffic and needs a larger bean hopper and a robust grinder. Unlike an outdoor street machine, a machine for a school or dormitory is usually placed indoors, so it does not require weather protection by default, but it should have a simple interface and hygienic surfaces that can be wiped down quickly.

Installation in schools and colleges
A coffee vending machine for schools can be placed in a hall, canteen, recreation area, staff room or corridor. The placement, product range and operating hours are agreed with the school or college administration and the internal rules of the institution. CoffeeVar does not decide these points on its own; we adjust the equipment to the requirements set by the school.

Dormitory and campus: rent or purchase?
For a dormitory, a coffee vending machine can be installed under rent or purchase. Under rent, CoffeeVar installs and maintains the equipment, and the location owner receives a share of sales — 20%. This reduces the upfront cost and removes most operational responsibility. Under purchase, the institution buys the machine for 7,200 and can handle daily refilling itself or sign a separate service agreement.
Payback depends on the number of drinks sold, cup price and share percentage. We calculate this individually for each location. In many cases, the payback period is about 6–12 months, but we confirm the figure for your dormitory or common area after a short survey of expected traffic.

Service and hygiene
CoffeeVar provides servicing throughout Turkey from our Antalya office. The service schedule is agreed individually based on machine load and the type of location. Regular work includes refilling coffee beans and other ingredients and servicing the machine according to the agreed schedule.
Online monitoring shows sales and remaining stock, so refilling can be planned before the machine runs out. If a malfunction occurs, our service team can respond according to the agreed schedule. The machine is managed in line with the hygiene practices required by the institution, and all settings can be adjusted without interfering with the daily routine of the school or dormitory.
