A coffee vending machine for hotels solves a problem that every front desk knows well: guests want coffee at hours when the kitchen and the bar are closed, and staff want it during shifts without leaving the floor. A self-service machine placed in the lobby, the breakfast area or near the pool bar covers both, works around the clock and needs no barista. For hotels in Antalya and the resort regions, where traffic rises sharply in season and drops in winter, it also adds revenue without adding payroll.

Why a coffee vending machine for hotels earns its place

Hotel demand for hot drinks is not evenly spread. It peaks early in the morning, mid-afternoon and late at night. A machine absorbs those peaks instantly, so the bar is not pulled into making single espressos while guests wait for proper orders.

The guest side is simple. People expect good coffee within a short walk of where they are sitting. When they can pay by card on the spot, most do not think twice. That habit repeats every day of the stay, and it is the same habit that makes the machine pay for itself.

There is also a staff dimension. Kitchens, housekeeping floors and security posts are busy at hours when nothing is open. A machine in a staff area keeps people on site instead of sending them out for a coffee, which is a small operational gain that shows up every single shift.

Where to place the unit

Placement decides most of the result. Four positions work consistently well in hotels:

  • Lobby. Highest visibility, natural waiting time, easy for arriving and departing guests.
  • Breakfast area. Strong morning traffic, and the machine keeps working after the buffet closes.
  • Pool bar zone. Excellent in season, especially where guests sit for long periods in swimwear and do not carry cash.
  • Staff areas. Lower volume per unit but steady, predictable and simple to manage.

Whatever the spot, the machine should look right for the space. In a four or five star lobby, a floor-standing unit with a clean front panel and a real screen reads as part of the furniture, not as a piece of equipment parked in a corner.

Which configuration suits your hotel

Two things matter most: capacity and drink range. A busy lobby in high season needs a large-capacity configuration so refilling is a routine task rather than an emergency. A small guesthouse or a spa corner is better served by a compact model that fits into a narrow space and is easy to top up.

Drink range should match the guest profile. Coffee is the base. Tea and hot chocolate widen the appeal considerably, particularly for families and for guests who do not drink coffee at all. Our tea and coffee vending machine range covers both directions in one unit.

Payment is the other decision. In a hotel, card and contactless payment is effectively mandatory, because guests rarely carry coins and are often without their wallet by the pool. Coin and token operation still has its place in staff areas and in some seasonal settings. You can compare the two approaches on our coin operated tea and coffee vending machine page.

For most hotels, the flagship Jetinno JL300 is the default choice: floor-standing, fully automatic, beans ground per cup, tea and hot chocolate on the menu, touch screen, 8 to 12 drinks as standard with up to 50 recipes possible, capacity configurable from 40 to 250 cups per refill, and payment by coins, tokens, banknotes, bank card, contactless and QR. Telemetry and remote monitoring let us see stock and faults without visiting. It runs on a standard 220V socket, a water tank version is available where plumbing is not practical, and it carries a two-year warranty.

For small corners, compact models such as the JL26 and JL28 do the same job in less space. The full range is in our coffee machine catalog.

Rental partnership or purchase

There are two ways to get a machine working in your hotel, and both are legitimate depending on how you want to treat it.

Rental as a location partnership. Zero investment. CoffeeVar installs and operates the machine, and the location receives 20% of sales, which at typical traffic comes to about 18,000 per month. The contract runs for two years and sales are visible online. With a cup cost of 12–20, a sale price of 80–120 and typical traffic of 30–60 cups a day, turnover is around 90,000. You can read the terms on our sale and rental of vending machines page.

Purchase. You buy the machine, keep all revenue and control the menu and pricing yourself. The JL300 is 7,200 USD, with payback at 6–12. Current figures are listed on our coffee machine prices page.

If you are unsure which route fits your traffic, the coffee vending machine calculator gives you a first estimate in a couple of minutes.

What CoffeeVar does and what the location does

CoffeeVar The location
Supply, delivery and installation Provide the space and a 220V socket
Commissioning and drink menu setup Keep the area clean and accessible
Refilling, cleaning and technical service Report faults and stock through the agreed contact
Payment and telemetry monitoring Receive the agreed share or keep full revenue
Staff briefing on basic use Point guests to the machine

Installation and service

Installation is handled by CoffeeVar, normally within about 72 hours after the contract is signed. Our head office is in Antalya, and we deliver and install across Turkey, with service engineers working in the main cities. For hotels that operate seasonally, this matters: the machine can be in place before the season starts and supported through it without the hotel managing spare parts or technical calls.
