A tea and coffee vending machine prepares both bean coffee and brewed tea in a single unit. In Türkiye a drinks point that sells only coffee misses half its demand: tea is consumed as much as coffee here, and in many locations more. This page explains how a combined machine works, what capacities exist, how payment is set up and what it costs to run.

Tea and Coffee in One Machine: How It Works

The Jetinno JL300 is one device, not two. On the coffee side, beans are ground at the moment of ordering and extracted under pressure; on the tea side, hot water is heated on a separate line and dosed according to the recipe. The aroma of coffee does not carry into the tea, and vice versa.

In practice this means you do not need to buy two machines, allocate two floor spaces, or pay service on two units. One body, one socket, roughly half a square metre.

Choosing a Model by Capacity

The first question when choosing a machine is not the brand but how many cups a day it will sell. Capacity determines how often it needs refilling: too little means refilling twice a day, too much is capital tied up for nothing.

Capacity per refill Best suited for Refill frequency
40 cups Small office, reception, showroom 1–2 per week
60 cups Mid-sized office, clinic, shop 2 per week
80 cups Business centre floor, workshop, gym 2–3 per week
120 cups Factory shift, school, hospital Daily
250 cups Mall, university, high-footfall point Daily

The simplest way to pick the right capacity: count footfall at the point for one week, then take roughly double the estimated daily sales. If you are unsure, we will work it out together before installation — the assessment is free.

What Is on the Menu

Group Drinks
Tea Black tea, light brew, strong brew, herbal tea
Espresso-based Espresso, americano, lungo, double espresso
Milk-based Latte, cappuccino, flat white, macchiato
Other Hot chocolate, plain hot water

Recipes are configured per location: tea strength, coffee dose, milk ratio, water temperature and cup volume. A factory can get strong tea and a sharper coffee profile, an office a lighter one — same machine, different settings.

Payment: Coin, Token and Card

Whether the machine generates revenue depends on its payment module. There are five options and several can run at once:

  • Coin unit — accepts coins and gives change; the classic coin-operated setup;
  • Token unit — a token-operated mode for factories, schools and closed facilities;
  • Bank card and contactless — credit card, NFC, mobile payment;
  • QR code — through a mobile app;
  • Free-vend mode — for staff use, without payment.

A module can be fitted later: you can start in free-vend mode and move to a paid setup without replacing the machine.

Where to Install

Location Why tea and coffee work together here
Factories and workshops Tea demand at shift breaks exceeds coffee; suits a token setup
Offices and business centres Coffee in the morning, tea in the afternoon — one machine covers both peaks
Schools and universities Tea for students, coffee for staff
Hospitals Round-the-clock demand when the cafeteria is closed
Public buildings Long waiting times and a high expectation of hot drinks

Purchase and Rental

There are two models. Under purchase, the machine is yours and all revenue stays with you; the price is 7,200 USD + VAT. Under the location partnership, the upfront cost is 0 ₺: the machine, consumables and service belong to CoffeeVar, and the location owner receives 20% of every sale.

Item Typical value
Ingredient cost per cup 12–20 ₺
Average selling price 80–120 ₺
Daily sales (good location) 30–60 cups
Monthly revenue potential up to 90,000 ₺
Payback period 6–12 months

Detailed calculations are on the coffee machine prices page, and partnership terms on the machine rental page. All models are in the coffee machine catalog.

By Use Case

Two situations have their own page, because the terms differ:

Maintenance and Refilling

Daily work amounts to refilling and simple cleaning: tea, coffee beans, milk powder, sugar, cups and stirrers. The milk line and mixer are cleaned every day by an automatic washing programme. The online panel shows sales, stock levels and faults, and alerts you when stock runs low — so refills happen when needed rather than on a blind schedule.

Frequently asked questions

Is the tea actually brewed, or is it powder?
It is set by recipe: either tea concentrate or granulated tea can be used. For unattended vending this is the most common solution in terms of hygiene and consistency.
Does the coffee aroma carry into the tea?
No. The water lines and preparation chambers are separate.
Is a plumbing connection required?
No. Where there is no mains connection, a configuration with an internal water tank is installed.
Can capacity be increased later?
Hopper capacity depends on the model. If the point turns out busier than expected, an exchange for a larger model can be arranged.
How many drink options does one machine offer?
Tea and coffee groups are set up together; a typical configuration shows 8–12 options on screen.
